Day #483 – Next Steps
Dear God I’m Grateful For Next Steps
.
Tonight was a night of reflection. Even though I have clear plans and know what I’m supposed to do next, I honestly asked the Lord why I can’t seem to bring myself to act and from my own mouth, I heard myself whisper, “because I’m afraid to fail.”
.
So as I looked up the definition of fear, I also searched for words that mean unafraid and to my surprise the word “delight” came across my path. I knew immediately that this would be my next step: instead of operating in fear and not acting, I would need to do the opposite and delight myself in God, obediently.

“Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper.
.
Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires. Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.
.
He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun.”
