Day #477 – My Mom
Dear God I’m Grateful For My Mom

Today is Mother’s Day and tomorrow is my mom’s birthday, my grandmothers heavenly birthday and the one year anniversary of the day my great grandmother made her transition to heaven.
.
This day carries so much power because of the amazing women who can before me. From my great grandmother down to my grandmother, down to my mother, I am blessed to celebrate them all and I praise the Lord for birthing me from strong, beautiful, and amazing women.
.
They embody the characteristics of the Proverbs 31 woman and have imparted their wisdom and understanding. I can only hope and pray that I am half the mother than my mother, and can give my children the love that she has given me.

“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness. She carefully watches everything in her household and suffers nothing from laziness. Her children stand and bless her. Her husband praises her: “There are many virtuous and capable women in the world, but you surpass them all!””
