Day #448 – The Lord’s Help

Dear God I’m Grateful For The Lord’s Help

.

“Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37:5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

.

Too often we suffer in silence due to pride, embarrassment, or the inability to simply ask for help. We either assume that we can do it all or we cower at the thought of failure and refuse to admit the need for assistance. 

.

The beauty about the Lord is, He already knows when we need help before we even ask. His word alone says,

.

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”

‭‭(Isaiah‬ ‭41:10‬ ‭NLT‬‬) 

.

“So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.” (Hebrews‬ ‭4:16‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

.

It’s time we humbled ourselves and asked the Lord for help in EVERYTHING! Not just when we’re down, but also when we’re up, because his help is ever-present and always on time.

.

“We put our hope in the Lord. He is our help and our shield.” (Psalms‬ ‭33:20‬ ‭NLT)‬‬
