Day #441 – Cleansing
Dear God I’m Grateful For Cleansing
.
“Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.” – Psalms 51:7 NLT
.
Jesus has the power to wash us clean, spiritually. Whether it be sin, disease, guilt, or physical dirt, with a few words, Jesus can cleanse even the filthiest of sins.
.
In Matthew 8, Jesus cleansed a man with leprosy with just 2 words: “Be clean.”
.
These words alone are also simple instructions that we all can follow if we place our faith in Jesus alone!
.
“When Jesus came down from the mountainside, large crowds followed him. A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”
.
Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy.

Then Jesus said to him, “See that you don’t tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”” – Matthew 8:1-4 NIV
