Day #388 – Guidance
Dear God I’m Grateful For Guidance

“When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild. But whoever obeys the law is joyful.”
Proverbs 29:18 NLT
.
As I went to look up the word “help”, I realized that a synonym for help is Guidance. It’s actual definition states that it is “advice or information aimed at resolving a problem or difficulty, especially as given by someone in authority.”
.
In this context, the Bible is a book of instruction and guidance. Its pages are filled with advice and information that can and will solve any problem and it’s written by those given authority by the ultimate authority figure himself, Jesus Christ.
.
The Word of God gives us guidance into how we should live, how to love, how to forgive and so much more. It prevents us from running wild as Proverbs 29 mentions, and sets us on a path toward joy.

So today I’m grateful for divine guidance and how the Lord uses his word to help us.
