Day #313 – Thanksgiving
Dear God I’m Grateful For Thanksgiving

“Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:18 NLT

Today and everyday is a day for thanksgiving, a day that we can spend time with loved ones, and a day where we can come together to enjoy a meal.

The thought crossed my mind that although we celebrate Thanksgiving as a holiday, we should acknowledge every day as a day to give thanks to our Heavenly Father.

Psalms 100:4 NLT says, “Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name.”

Psalms 107:1 NLT says, “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.”
.
Whether you’re celebrating a holiday with family and friends or simply driving to work in the morning, “whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.” – Colossians 3:17 NLT
