Day #223 - Seeking - Micayla Robertson

Dear God I’m Grateful For Seeking

“Seek the Lord while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near.” – ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55:6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

To seek is to search or to look for and when we seek the Lord and the Kingdom of God we will find provision.

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. (‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:33‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost. (Luke‬ ‭19:10‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

“The wicked are too proud to seek God. They seem to think that God is dead.”

‭‭(Psalms‬ ‭10:4‬ ‭NLT‬‬) And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people and birds and animals and reptiles. (Romans‬ ‭1:23‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

“But the Lord is the only true God. He is the living God and the everlasting King! The whole earth trembles at his anger. The nations cannot stand up to his wrath.” ‭‭- Jeremiah‬ ‭10:10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

When we search for the Lord and for his strength; and seek his will in all that we do, he will show us which path to take. (Proverbs‬ ‭3:6‬ ‭NLT‬‬) For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. (Matthew‬ ‭7:8‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

“The one thing I ask of the Lord— the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple. (Psalms‬ ‭27:4‬ ‭NLT‬‬) Because in 2 Chronicles‬ ‭7:14‬ ‭NLT‬‬, the Lord says, “If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.”
