Day #198 - Connection - Micayla Robertson

Dear God I’m Grateful For Connection

So we just moved into a new space and as expected with moving, we ran into a minor issue with our internet connection. Although the equipment is connected properly and the customer service agent is confirming that everything should be working, for some reason the wifi just won’t connect on any of our devices.

At first, it didn’t bother me, but then I realized how almost everything I do require and internet connection: work requires internet, watching television via streaming services requires internet, and even the thermostats are controlled by an app on my phone that of course is connected via internet. It’s crazy how a connection we cannot see has the greatest impact on everything we do in life.

But then… I saw the connection. The way I rely on internet is exactly how I should be relying on God.

“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him.” – Psalms‬ ‭24:1‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God is the greatest connection we can have in life. Although unseen, he has control over everything and will shut down our internet connection to get our attention. He is needed to do all of our work, he created the people and the stories that we watch on television, and everything under the sun belongs to him.

God is the inner net we need to connect to the rest of the world. His connection never gives out and He holds all wisdom, information and knowledge. Tap into the source of all connection and He will provide all of your needs.

“And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.” – 2 Corinthians‬ ‭9:8‬ ‭NLT‬‬
