Day #172 – Acts Of Kindness

Dear God I’m Grateful For Acts Of Kindness

.

“Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions.” – 1 John‬ ‭3:18‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Today, my husband stepped out to go for a walk and get some fresh air, and came home with a beautiful red rose. He handed it to me with no explanation and no special reason, he just said “I Love You” and had a smile on his face. 

. 

This simple act of kindness and love truly made my day. Receiving the rose was a gift and blessing, but knowing that he was thinking about me made me feel cherished and loved. 

.

Love is felt but it can also be seen and enjoyed. When we give, we showcase our love and the beauty in performing acts of kindness is that we are able to physically share God’s love with one another.
