Dear God I’m Grateful For Transparency

When it comes to being completely honest and transparent, we tend to hide details due to fear of judgement. We don’t reveal our flaws, our secrets, our fears, challenges, or failures, and we give advice and try to help others without giving them the full story.

Transparency is the key to trust and the path to truth.

The Word of God encourages transparency and reveals our innermost thoughts and desires. It cuts through the fluff and allows us to get to the root of the issue so that we can humble ourselves, heal and help others do the same.

When we expose our story, we give others permission to do the same. When we embrace transparency, we establish a safe place for forgiveness and trust to be built. God already sees everything we try to hide. Maybe it’s time we stop hiding and reveal to others the glory of God by transparently sharing how He’s brought you through.

“For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.” – Hebrews‬ ‭4:12-13‬ ‭NLT‬‬
