Day #114 – The Womb
Dear God I’m Grateful For The Womb
.
With yesterday being Mother’s Day it led me to consider the power of the womb. From providing a safe place for creation, a home to grow and the ability to physically birth life into this world, it is amazing how God gave woman the blessing of the womb.
.
It was in the womb that we we created and called into being by our Heavenly Father.
.
“You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.” – Psalms 139:13-16 NLT

Although we were born into sin, in the womb He introduced us wisdom
.
“For I was born a sinner— yes, from the moment my mother conceived me. But you desire honesty from the womb, teaching me wisdom even there.”
Psalms 51:5-6 NLT

He never left us and he never will, for he has been with us since the day of conception.

“O Lord, you alone are my hope. I’ve trusted you, O Lord, from childhood. Yes, you have been with me from birth; from my mother’s womb you have cared for me. No wonder I am always praising you! My life is an example to many, because you have been my strength and protection. That is why I can never stop praising you; I declare your glory all day long.” – Psalms 71:5-8 NLT

And He has given us, Wom(b)man, the opportunity to birth his creation.

I am honored and blessed to be a woman and carry the responsibility of the womb. I pray that I am able to protect and provide, nurture and teach, the lives that God births through my womb at the time that he is ready to create. (And no this is not a pregnancy announcement! 🥴)
