Day #103 – Encouragement
Dear God I’m Grateful For Encouragement
.
I’m going to be honest, today was rough. When doubt and discouragement creep in, it’s easy to believe that you’re not worthy, you’re wasting your time, you won’t make it, or you’re not good enough.
.
Today I was swarmed with discouraging thoughts trying to tear me down and as hard as I tried not to believe them, they just kept coming.
.
But even in discouragement, God sends us encouragement.
.
While feeling down, I had to ask myself why I felt the way I did. I had to really dig deep find the root of the problem, and even in the midst of tears, I realized that I had doubt because of lack of gratitude. I was so busy looking at what I wanted and the desires that I have but don’t see tangibly, that I failed to see the blessing in what I do have and the growth I’ve endured to get to this point in my life.

Encouragement came when I looked around and began to thank God for what I do have. I am worthy because God says that I am and I am blessed because He rules over my life. In Christ, I have all that I need and if my desires are pleasing to him, then he will make them happened in his time. I find encouragement knowing that I am not alone, and that God us with me every step of the way. Be encouraged friends.
