Day #95 – New Strength

Dear God I’m Grateful For New Strength

.

“For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” – Philippians‬ ‭4:13‬ ‭NLT‬‬

.

Living for Christ can often feel like an uphill marathon. We spend days and nights training, praying, and trusting but the more we run uphill, the more it feels like the force of fear is pulling us down like gravity. 

.

Sometimes our energy may run low or we may lose motivation to keep running. Or sometimes we experience exhaustion or feel too weak to keep moving forward. It is in these moments where trust in God comes in and in our weakness he is made strong. 

.

“Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” – ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40:28-31‬ ‭NLT‬‬

.

So when you feel weak or feel like giving up, place your trust in the everlasting God. May the power of Christ work through you and may the Lord bless you with New Strength so that you may be able to soar.

“Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.” – ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭12:9‬ ‭NLT‬‬
