Day #90 – God’s Plans
Dear God I’m Grateful For Your Plans (God’s Plans)

I remember planning out my whole life and thinking that all of my plans would come to pass. I saw things totally different and sought a life that catered to my own selfish desires just so I could level up. Gratefully, I received a reality check after college graduation that taught me humility.

“We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.” – Proverbs 16:9 NLT
.
Sometimes, the plans that we have for ourselves don’t happen because they aren’t in alignment with God’s plans.
Proverbs 19:21 says, “You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail.”
.
God’s plans for us are meant to prepare us, to prune us for service and to humble us to help others. We can want things all day long, but unless they line up with the plans that God drew up for us, we are simply wasting time. Our plans bring temporary pleasures but God’s plans are meant to prosper us.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” – Jeremiah 29:11 NLT
.
To gain a future, a hope and fulfillment we have to learn to surrender our plans to God. He will give us the desires of his heart when we trust in him, and his desires and plans can be manifested through us if we commit our actions to him.

“Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.” – Proverbs 16:3 NLT
.
Plans are only purposeful if God creates them and we commit to them. Check your heart, check your plans, are make sure they are in alignment with God’s will for your life.
