Day #74 - Deliverance - Micayla Robertson

Dear God I’m Grateful For Deliverance.

“In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened; he saved me from all my troubles.” – Psalms‬ ‭34:6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Today is the last day of March which means it has officially been one year since I was delivered from my old life.

For years I chased money, worked 80 hours a week, neglected my health, my husband, my family, and my dreams, and I fell into the rat-race of a workaholic.

I placed my worth in promotions and titles, and thought that reading the scripture of the day was enough time spent with God.

I was broke, exhausted, weak and miserable, but still optimistic as I kept praying for God to deliver me so that I could serve him in my purpose and work full time in ministry from home.

It’s been a whole year since deliverance and although it came in the form of a pandemic, his promise to deliver brought me out of poverty and into peace, protection and prosperity. I could have never imagined the life that I have today and I tribute it only to God’s Grace, his glory and his mercy towards me.

Today and everyday I am so grateful for deliverance.

““Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.” (Matthew‬ ‭7:7-8‬ ‭NLT)‬‬

“And the Lord will deliver me from every evil attack and will bring me safely into his heavenly Kingdom. All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.” (‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭4:18‬ ‭NLT‬‬)
