Day #68 – Storytelling

Dear God I’m Grateful For Storytelling

The Bible is a story that has been told for centuries, and history in itself is the revelation of our ancestors stories. 

.

Storytelling has been around since the very beginning of creation and it becomes a part of who we are, how we live, and what we leave behind. 

.

When I look at every single person that I meet, see, or even experience life with, each and every one of us has a story that somehow connects us in one way or another. Our stories can share life lessons and teach others, and they can also motivate and inspire us to fulfill our purpose. 

.

From the story of Adam, to the story of Jesus, storytelling connects us all, and even during his ministry and time on Earth, Jesus used storytelling and parables to lead people to repentance and share the glory of our Heavenly Father! 

.

“O my people, listen to my instructions. Open your ears to what I am saying, for I will speak to you in a parable. I will teach you hidden lessons from our past— stories we have heard and known, stories our ancestors handed down to us. We will not hide these truths from our children; we will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord, about his power and his mighty wonders.” – Psalms‬ ‭78:1-4‬ ‭NLT‬‬
