Day #62 – A Sound Mind

Dear God I’m Grateful For A Sound Mind

.

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” – II Timothy‬ ‭1:7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

.

The most important thing we can protect from spiritual attack is our mind. 

. 

The mind develops thoughts, which turn into beliefs, which dictate our actions and ultimately lead to our decisions. When the enemy attacks our mind, He cause torment from within which leads to suffering in silence until it can manifest itself physically.

.

A sound mind is a mind of peace and the best way to protect our mind is to meditate on positive things. God does not give us the spirit of fear, which means we have the power to cast out fearful thoughts. We have to the power to love and not hate, and we have power and authority over what we allow to enter our minds. It is in the mind where peace can be achieved and if we practice thinking on things above, we invite the Lords Will to be done on Earth, just as it is in Heaven.

“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.” – Philippians‬ ‭4:8-9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
