Dear God I’m Grateful For IronWifey

Now today is Day 40 of our gratitude challenge and I find it no coincidence that the Bible App scripture of the day is Proverbs 27:17: “As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.”

This verse sparked the beginning of the very ministry that started this podcast and serves as the foundation for the IronWifey motto, “As iron sharpens iron, so one woman sharpens another.”

IronWifey is an online magazine and community aimed to sharpen and encourage women in Christ. Founded in June 2017 with the launch of the first issue, IronWifey is dedicated to spreading the Good News of Christ and transforming women in the Word in order to present themselves as the bride of Christ, flawless and without spot.

What started a small dream to glorify God has since grown into a print and digital publication read internationally, a team of 15 writers from multiple countries, a podcast network comprised of faith based audio content like Dear God I’m Grateful, and a community of women who pray together, encourage each other, and sharpen one another in Christ, as I initially envisioned.

God is good, all the time, and I believe that he has a plan for each and every one of us. IronWifey is a reflection of my obedience to God and my acceptance of his plan for my life. I pray that every extension of this ministry is a blessing to you and a light that leads back to the unwavering grace, love and favor of Jesus Christ!
