Day #27 – Purpose

Dear God I’m Grateful For Purpose

Imagine the joy and fulfillment we could have when we dedicate our talents to carry out God’s purpose for our lives. 

I believe each and every one of us was placed on this Earth for a reason. Collectively we are on the same mission and individually we have received unique gifts that we can utilize to carry out our designated assignment. Regardless of the titles we hold or the industries we fill, our purpose is simple: 

We are here to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ.  

For we speak as messengers approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News. Our purpose is to please God, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts.(1 Thessalonians 2:4)

Our purpose requires submission, trust, and obedience to God and our actions should reflect how we serve God and glorify His kingdom. Although we often like to make plans of our own, ultimately it’s the Lord’s purpose that will prevail. (Proverbs 19:21) 

Commit your actions to the Lord and walk in the purpose that He has placed on your life.
