Day #20 - Thanksgiving - Micayla Robertson

Dear God I’m Grateful For Thanksgiving

And no… I’m not talking about the holiday (even though I do love the holiday lol). I’m grateful for the opportunity to give God thanks! He blesses us with so much and it’s only right that I give back to him by expressing my gratitude to him daily (hence Dear God I’m Grateful) and dedicating my life to Christ through my words and actions.

We are called to be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for us who belong to Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:18) We are told to enter into his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name (Psalms 100:4). Whatever we do or say, is to be done as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father (Colossians 3:17).

Praise the Lord! Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. (Psalms 106:1)
