Day #11 – Mercy

Dear God I’m Grateful For Mercy

.

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. (Psalm 51:1)

.

Although Mercy and grace are two common terms we often hear together, they do not mean the same thing. To be given grace is to receive a blessing that we do not deserve because of God’s patience and love for us, but to be extended mercy is to receive forgiveness for our sins and the grace to no longer endure the punishment attached to our sins.
