Day #145 – Help

Dear God I’m Grateful For Help

.

“I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth!” – Psalms‬ ‭121:1-2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

.

It’s okay to ask for help.

.

We were not created to take on anything alone and it is outside of our power to control everything that comes to us. At some point in life, we all need help. 

.

Asking for help is not admitting defeat, it’s not a showcase of weakness, and it’s not asking for a handout. We are the body of Christ and each of us plays a part in making sure the whole body functions. We were designed to help each other and we have to remove the negative connotations around asking for help. 

.

“Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37:5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

.

The Lord wants to help us and is always available when we need something. Before you consider going to anyone for assistance, consider asking the Lord for help and witness his glory and capability first hand.

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” – Isaiah‬ ‭41:10‬ ‭NLT‬‬
