Day #150 – Spontaneity
Dear God I’m Grateful For Spontaneity

When life becomes routine and you fall into common patterns, it’s nice to mix things up sometimes or do something spontaneous!
.
Tonight, on a Tuesday, hubby and I had a spontaneous date night filled with love, joy, laughter and lessons. It was a surprise to me because I was definitely ready to turn in for the night (gosh I sound old lol), but a night on the town for dinner and drinks was exactly what we needed to enjoy each other and reflect on the last six years of marriage as we prepare to celebrate our 7 year wedding anniversary tomorrow!

My husband and I agreed when we got married that we would never become bored with each other or become a boring old couple. Seven years is a long time, and nights like tonight, spontaneous road trips, and simply prioritizing fun in our relationship has helped us keep things exciting!

Enjoy each other while you can and cherish the surprises that life brings you through love! Simplicity is great, but every so often, it’s okay to add a little spontaneity to your life.
