Day #194 – Harmony

Dear God I’m Grateful For Harmony

.

“How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony! For harmony is as precious as the anointing oil that was poured over Aaron’s head, that ran down his beard and onto the border of his robe. Harmony is as refreshing as the dew from Mount Hermon that falls on the mountains of Zion. And there the Lord has pronounced his blessing, even life everlasting.” – Psalms‬ ‭133:1-3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The best way to live in harmony with each other is to live in love and service to others. 

.

“We who are strong must be considerate of those who are sensitive about things like this. We must not just please ourselves. We should help others do what is right and build them up in the Lord. For even Christ didn’t live to please himself. 

.

As the Scriptures say, “The insults of those who insult you, O God, have fallen on me.” Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled. 

.

May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus. Then all of you can join together with one voice, giving praise and glory to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory.”

So above all, let us clothe ourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. (Colossians‬ ‭3:14‬ ‭NLT‬‬) For God is love and “Love means doing what God has commanded us, and he has commanded us to love one another, just as you heard from the beginning.” – 2 John‬ ‭1:6‬ ‭NLT‬‬
