Day #221 - Integrity - Micayla Robertson

Dear God I’m Grateful For Integrity

“Joyful are people of integrity, who follow the instructions of the Lord.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭119:1‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Integrity is defined as “the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles and moral uprightness.” It’s the ability to do what you’re supposed to when no one is watching and the desire to uphold truth even when it comes to your own actions.

Unfortunately, we live in a world where integrity is lacking and the concept of being a man/woman of your word seems like a shock or surprise to some.

The Bible speaks highly of integrity and how it pleases the Lord. ‭‭

Proverbs‬ ‭10:9‬ ‭NLT‬‬ says, “People with integrity walk safely, but those who follow crooked paths will be exposed.” Proverbs‬ ‭11:20‬ ‭NLT‬‬ follows with, “The Lord detests people with crooked hearts, but he delights in those with integrity.” He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest. He is a shield to those who walk with integrity. ‭‭(Proverbs‬ ‭2:7‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

‭‭.

If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities. (Luke‬ ‭16:10‬ ‭NLT‬‬) Lead a life of integrity, in spirit and in truth, and allow your actions to reflect the honesty and morality found in Christ.
