Day #232 – The Five Senses
Dear God I’m Grateful For The Five Senses
.
“Ears to hear and eyes to see— both are gifts from the Lord.” (Proverbs 20:12 NLT)
.
Gratitude is key to remembering the little things and sometimes we forget that God gives us the ability to see, hear, touch, smell and taste.
.
Our five senses are gifts that allow us to enjoy God’s creations, and although forgotten, we must keep in mind that not everyone is able to indulge in their joy.

See:
““Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is filled with light.”
(Matthew 6:22 NLT) “Come and see what our God has done, what awesome miracles he performs for people!” (Psalms 66:5 NLT)

Hear:
“Go yourself and listen to what the Lord our God says. Then come and tell us everything he tells you, and we will listen and obey.’” (Deuteronomy 5:27 NLT) “Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand!” (Matthew 11:15 NLT)

Touch:
“For she thought to herself, “If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.”” (Mark 5:28 NLT) “Everyone tried to touch him, because healing power went out from him, and he healed everyone.” (Luke 6:19 NLT)

Smell:
“To those who are perishing, we are a dreadful smell of death and doom. But to those who are being saved, we are a life-giving perfume.” (2 Corinthians 2:16 NLT)
“Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.” (Ephesians 5:2 NLT)

Taste:
