Day #245 – Purity
Dear God I’m Grateful For Purity

“Everything is pure to those whose hearts are pure. But nothing is pure to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, because their minds and consciences are corrupted.” – Titus 1:15 NLT
.
Purity is not measured by our thoughts or our actions, but by the posture of our heart. Proverbs 4:23 NLT warns each of us to, “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.”

“For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.” – Romans 10:10 NLT
.
The ultimate form of purity for believers is receiving salvation from God. When we seek the Kingdom of God and his word, his love has the power to transform our hearts and the purpose of his instruction is that all believers would be filled with love that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and genuine faith. (1 Timothy 1:5 NLT)
.
Although people may be pure in their own eyes, the Lord examines their motives. (Proverbs 16:2 NLT) So, let us seek purity through obedience to Jesus’ instructions, for He says, “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.” (Matthew 22:37 NLT)

“God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God. -Matthew 5:8 NLT
