Dear God I’m Grateful For Instructions For Christian Households

I know I reference this often, but I definitely agree with the acronym for BIBLE that says it’s Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth.
.
The Bible is a manual and guide that teaches how to live, where to live, who to live for and why we live. Every answer to every problem can be found within its pages and the best advice we ever need is written in red. From marriage to parenting to prayer, property, and pricing, the Bible is even a business tool, used to carry out our fathers business.

If you seek instruction from the Lord, the book of Colossians is good place to start as it lists some basic instructions for Christian Households to follow:

“Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting for those who belong to the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and never treat them harshly. Children, always obey your parents, for this pleases the Lord. Fathers, do not aggravate your children, or they will become discouraged.

Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything you do. Try to please them all the time, not just when they are watching you. Serve them sincerely because of your reverent fear of the Lord. Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ.” – Colossians 3:18-24 NLT
