Day #25 - Wisdom - Micayla Robertson

Dear God I’m Grateful For Wisdom

The Bible says that fear of the Lord is the foundation of true wisdom and all who obey his commandments will grow in wisdom. (Psalms 111:10)

When God united us with Christ Jesus, He made Christ to be wisdom itself. So when we seek wisdom, we are truly seeking a deeper understanding and knowledge of Jesus Christ. Christ made us right with God and He made us pure, holy, and freed us from sin. So although true wisdom and power are found in God and counsel and understanding are his, He gifts us with the opportunity to fill our lives with the message of Christ and grow to discern his ways for our life.

Joyful is the person who finds wisdom, the one who gains understanding. (Proverbs 3:13) Wisdom from above is first of all pure, but is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. Wisdom is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds and it shows no favoritism and is always sincere. (James 3:17)

If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking (James 1:5) because to acquire wisdom is to love yourself and when we cherish wisdom and understanding we will prosper. (Proverbs19:8)
