Day #269 – Journaling
Dear God I’m Grateful For Journaling

“Many people have set out to write accounts about the events that have been fulfilled among us.”
Luke 1:1 NLT

It’s so easy to pray and ask God for something and then forget about it within a week. I personally have witnessed God answer a prayer that I prayed 12 years prior, and because I wrote it down, I was able to recall.
.
Journaling is so much more than keeping a diary or writing down your feelings. It’s a way to keep track of monumental moments, personal prayers, answers, and hopes for the future. It’s also a way to keep track of dreams and vision from the Lord that may reveal themselves to be prophetic in time.

“Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.”
Habakkuk 2:2 NKJV

When we write down what the Lord has done or shown us in our lives, we hold evidence that his Word stands true and can be trusted for all to run with and share.
.
So if you truly want to see God move in your life, write down what you ask of him, and revisit what you write. You’ll be surprised how frequently the Lord hears and answers our prayers.
