Dear God I’m Grateful For Salt & Light

You are the salt of the earth.

You are the light of the world

“Like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house.

In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.”

Salt is good for seasoning and light is good for leading. As we season ourselves in Christ, studying and seeking his word, our light will shine so brightly, we season others and lead them to back to Christ!

Each is a symbol of peace and goodness, and without both we are left with flavorless food and darkness throughout the earth.
