Day #285 – 28 years
Dear God I’m Grateful For 28!
.
Today marks my 28th birthday and it just so happens to be October 28th! I know I can only speak for myself, but something feels special about being 28 on the 28th.
.
The Lord has been my strength this past year and without him, 27 would have really sucked, but something feels very different about this new year. I just feel a shift in my mindset and my spirit, and I’m claiming that this is the year of double blessings, and that all that God showed me these last few years will come to pass.
.
While most people make New Years resolutions on Jan 1st, my new year starts on October 28th and my word/ theme for this year is Execute!
.
The Lord has given me so many visions and goals, and ideas and although I’ve started working on many of them, I never fully committed or executed them fully. 28 is execution year (not like the death sentence) and my goal is to complete all that the Lord brings to my attention.

The time for hesitation and procrastination has passed, and this year I intend to execute for completion.

““This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Be strong and finish the task! Ever since the laying of the foundation of the Temple of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, you have heard what the prophets have been saying about completing the building.

Before the work on the Temple began, there were no jobs and no money to hire people or animals. No traveler was safe from the enemy, for there were enemies on all sides. I had turned everyone against each other. “But now I will not treat the remnant of my people as I treated them before, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. For I am planting seeds of peace and prosperity among you. The grapevines will be heavy with fruit. The earth will produce its crops, and the heavens will release the dew.

Once more I will cause the remnant in Judah and Israel to inherit these blessings. Among the other nations, Judah and Israel became symbols of a cursed nation. But no longer! Now I will rescue you and make you both a symbol and a source of blessing. So don’t be afraid. Be strong, and get on with rebuilding the Temple!” – Zechariah 8:9-13 NLT
