Day #32 – Exercise
Dear God I’m Grateful For Exercise
Day 32 – Did you know that the Bible actually encourages us to workout and exercise?
According to 1 Timothy 4:8: “Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come.”
The simple mention of physical training being good, signifies that working out and exercising has great value and can add to our overall health! But it also mentions how “training for godliness is much better and promises benefits in this life and in the life to come.”
If we can combine our physical training with our spiritual training imagine what we can accomplish for the Kingdom of God. He has given us these bodies to glorify him, so what better way to serve him than to take care of and give thanks for the very vessels we occupy!
According to 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, our body is a temple, so let’s honor God with our body and strengthen our temple as we strengthen our faith.
