Day #351 – True Wealth

Dear God I’m Grateful For True Wealth

.

“Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.” – Matthew‬ ‭6:21‬ ‭NLT‬‬

.

We often focus on money as of it’s the only form of wealth. But in all actuality, our faith, our health, and our desire to seek God and pursue righteousness will also bring us wealth.  

 .

According to 1 Timothy‬ ‭6:6-10‬ ‭NLT‬‬, 

“True godliness with contentment is itself great wealth. After all, we brought nothing with us when we came into the world, and we can’t take anything with us when we leave it. So if we have enough food and clothing, let us be content.” 

.

The scripture goes on to read that “people who long to be rich fall into temptation and are trapped by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.”

Money is only a resource, not a source of wealth. When we can comprehend and adopt this belief, then true wealth and riches in Christ will pursue us all the days of our lives!

May you grow in wealth and wisdom as you desire the One who created the world.
