Day #470 – Submission
Dear God I’m Grateful For Submission
.
“And further, submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. For wives, this means submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For a husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of the church. He is the Savior of his body, the church. As the church submits to Christ, so you wives should submit to your husbands in everything.” – Ephesians 5:21-24 NLT

Lately, the Lord has been leading me to study marriage, and during my studies he revealed to me my role as a wife and how I’ve been called to submit to and help my husband.
.
Too often we confuse submission for silence, when in reality, it’s an opportunity to carry out our very mission as women. God created Eve to be a helper to Adam and we were created to help our husbands carry out the mission and vision that God gave them!
.
So as I was studying, the Holy Spirit revealed to me instructions to S.U.B.M.I.T. – Support, Understand, Build Up, Manage, Intercede For, and Trust my husband!
