Dear God I’m Grateful For Contentmeant

Day #493 – “Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” – Philippians‬ ‭4:11-13‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Too often, we believe being content means settling for what we have and not asking for or desiring more. Although Paul explains the power of contentment as having everything he needs, I like to believe that contentment is simply creating “content with meaning”.

We are God’s creation and we are called to imitate our creator through creation. The content we create is intended to inspire, encourage, and sharpen others, so it’s meant to have a deep sense of purpose and meaning to establish genuine connections.

True contentment breeds Contentmeant because it allows us to transparently own and share our story through our content. For we can do everything through Christ, who gives us strength, including create!
