Dear God I’m Grateful For Honesty

Day #499 – If I can be honest, honesty drives actions.
.
When we’re honest with ourselves, (what we like, what we don’t like, what we see for our lives, who we want to be around or even who we want to become) we move according to what we believe. But when we lie to ourselves, and even to others, our actions will follow suit.
.
According to Luke 16:10 NLT, “If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities.”
.
If we can’t learn to be honest with the smallest conversations (aka white lies), what makes us think we can handle the bigger desires of our heart. Honesty drives action and once we receive and reciprocate the truth, we’ll be faithful when handling our true hearts’ desire.

Tell the truth friends and be honest with others and yourself.
