Day #51 – The Women In My Life
Dear God I’m Grateful For the Women In My Life
With Today being International Women’s Day, I am grateful for each and every woman that has had an influence and impact on my life. From my mothers and grandmothers passing down years of wisdom, to my friends, siblings and sisters in Christ encouraging me on my faith walk, each has played an important role in shaping my role as a woman and my purpose as a wife.
One of my favorite books is Titus 2, which talks about women teaching and encouraging each other. Titus 2:3-5 says:
“Similarly, teach the older women to live in a way that honors God. They must not slander others or be heavy drinkers. Instead, they should teach others what is good. These older women must train the younger women to love their husbands and their children, to live wisely and be pure, to work in their homes, to do good, and to be submissive to their husbands. Then they will not bring shame on the word of God.”
Thank you to all of the women who have been by my side over the years and taught me how to do good, live wisely, and honor God in my thoughts, prayers, and actions. I love you, I appreciate, and I celebrate you!
