Day #58 – The Bible
Dear God I’m Grateful For The Bible

It comes as no surprise that the Bible has been one of the world’s best selling books for centuries!
.
It tells the story of a family’s lineage from beginning to end and encompasses a beautiful manifestation of love. Beginning with a powerful introduction of creation, its pages hold stories of life and death, trials and tribulations, good and bad, heroes and villains, salvation, and damnation; yet each character is given a choice to determine how their own story will unfold.
.
Our main character is a perfect man named Jesus, who changes the world through repentance and love. He is a teacher, a speaker, a carpenter, an influencer, a healer, a redeemer, a lover, and a releaser. Even in perfection, he suffers a gruesome death by the hand of those he loves, but His story doesn’t end there because he defeats death and rises again, forgiving all for their sins and gifting everyone with an opportunity to enter salvation.

Some like to refer to the Bible as:
Basic – Instructions – Before – Leaving – Earth. I agree simply because Jesus leaves his people with it so that they have everything they need to live righteously. His story is still relevant today because one day he will return again, but it’s up to us to use this book to prepare for judgement on the day of his return.

Now, in every story there is always a beginning, a middle and an end, and although it may seem like it sometimes, our end is not yet here. We have been given the gift of time to co-write our story with Christ and change the current narrative of our lives. The Bible is a guide filled with lessons and eye opening revelations, and since our story is not yet finished, we still have time to create an ending that leads to salvation. If you haven’t heard of this book, I encourage you to check it out because not only is it an amazing story, but it is life changing and brings new life to those who read it!
