Day #88 - Confirmation - Micayla Robertson

Dear God I’m Grateful For Confirmation

I’m the type of girl who seeks confirmation from God before I decide to move on anything! Even things that seem absolutely OBVIOUS, I still like to pray on it, sleep on it, and receive confirmation before I make a decision.

Was I always like this…. Absolutely Not! But once I started truly trusting the Lord to order my steps, he always seems to confirm if I’m headed in the right direction.

““I will confirm my covenant with you and your descendants after you, from generation to generation. This is the everlasting covenant: I will always be your God and the God of your descendants after you.” -Genesis‬ ‭17:7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Today I received confirmation about a potential job contract. Although it presented itself as a great opportunity, God must have other plans in store for me because today he chose not to open that door. The confirmation came in the form of a phone call, but not from company, from a random person who received my number as a referral. While waiting for an interview phone call that never happened, the Lord sent a new client ready to work with me today. I asked the Lord to confirm where he wanted me, and he showed me exactly where I needed to be.

Confirmation can come in many forms, from different people, or from the Word itself. We just have to ask God for guidance, seek his will above our own, and knock on doors of opportunity so that He can guide us down the path that He wants us to take!
