Dear God I’m Grateful For Peacemakers

“God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God.’ – Matthew 5:9 NLT

We are born into sin, which means that peace must be created. It must be made and formed within our homes and nurtured in relationships throughout our lives.
.
“And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness.” – James 3:18 NLT
.
The Lord has given us peace as a gift, and by dwelling in His spirit we can make peace a way of life. According to John 14:27 NLT, Jesus said, ““I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”
.
Peacemakers are chosen and called to work for peace and in return receive favor as children of God.
.
May the peace that comes from Christ rule in our hearts. For as members of one body we are called to live in peace and always be thankful. (Colossians 3:15 NLT)

We are called to be peacemakers.
