It Starts with a Story!
Welcome to my intimate internet diary where testimonies hold truth and stories create paths to overcome! I personally believe, “It Starts with a story”.
Stories create legacy, stories build trust, stories start conversations, and stories provide solutions. The Bible talks about how we overcome the enemy through the blood of the lamb and word of our testimony, which is why I believe it’s so important for us to tell our story!
Our stories have the power to heal, encourage, lead, and impact everyone who hear them. The simple fact that we experience it, means that it is valuable! So, here’s how I prepare to tell my story confidently and found the tools and encouragement I needed to help others do the same!

Let’s Start From The Beginning
My Earliest Story Memory
December, 1997
While I’m sure there were many that came before this, my earliest story memory is being in Mrs. Golf’s Kindergarten class and sitting on the Storytime rug, while she read “The Polar Express”.
The day was magical! It was around Christmas of 1997, we dressed up in Christmas pajamas, rode around the classroom in a boxcar train, made stops at a cookie station, a present station, a candy station, and finally arrived at the North pole where we listened to “Mrs. Clause” read.
The Moment I Became A Storyteller
March, 2004
Outside of being a bookworm and binging every book series from Junie B. Jones to The Babysitter’s Club, the moment I bought my first diary (with the lock & key) at my elementary school’s scholastic book fair marked the beginning of my story. Whether it be dreams that started one night and picked up the next, the latest elementary school drama, lessons I learned from my elders or imaginary characters for my upcoming novel, I knew that I wanted to spend my life listening to and telling stories about everything I experienced.
My First Time Sharing My Story On Stage
December, 2014
Like most aspiring storytellers, I studied Broadcast Journalism at Michigan State University, where I learned how to sharpen and refine my storytelling skills. I fell in love with being behind the camera and creating newsworthy stories. I loved the process of interviewing and gathering information to present to others, and I loved creating an outlet to others to share their experiences.
During my Senior year, the Lord presented me with an opportunity be the graduation speaker for the Michigan State University Fall 2014 Graduating Class. With thousands in the audience, I was able to share my unique college journey and shed light on the life lessons learned, the amazing friends gained, the international travel lands explored, the many late nights overcome and the loving support I received from my husband (check the next tab for that story), my family and my friends!
Standing on that stage, I knew that I was home and exactly where I was supposed to be.

June, 2017
The Launch Of IRONWIFEY
After graduating and not being able to find a job in my field, my amazing husband encouraged me to create my dream job. Since my goal was to work for a magazine, I embarked on a mission to launch my own and IRONWIFEY was born June 16, 2017. The magazine gave Faith Based Storytellers a platform where they could share their testimonies, and grew into an international print and digital publication within the first two years.
January, 2018
How I Accidentally Launched A Podcast
While interview a cover feature for the magazine, all of my cameras died and I was left with only the audio. So in January of 2018, the IRONWIFEY Podcast was born. This podcast opened the door to network with storytellers around the world and helped me land the first job in my field as a Podcast Producer and freelance opportunities with prominent podcasters and Coaches. It’s amazing what can come out of an accident.
March 2020
The World Shut Down & The World Of Business Began
On March 23rd, 2020 I lost two full-time jobs in a matter of 30 minutes. I went into my first job and they told me to stop by HR and collect my last paycheck since they were closing the office indefinitely and on the drive home, my second job called and told me to stop by and pick up my last paycheck since they were closing their doors temporarily. In one day, my lost and I lost all of our income and our faith journey began. We leaned on the Lord to provide all of our needs and not only did he provide, but he planted new ideas and a new business into our lives and in 2021, once the world reopened, The IRON Agency was born.

The Shift
After celebrating 3 successful years in business, serving more than 20+ podcast hosts, contributing to more that 12 million downloads, training in communities all over the world, and helping people launch their podcasts, I shifted to embody the gift that God gave me from the beginning and stepped into my power as a storyteller. Since the beginning, I believe God called me to help others tell their story and gave me a power story to share. We overcome the enemy by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony, and God is calling both me and The IRON Agency to equip the next generation of Faith Based Storytellers. May the Lord bless the work of our hands and open our mouth to declare HIS-story!
